The use of technology as stated in the introduction has been a significant contribution to the success of many industries. The museum has hence taken measures to include the use of technology in the settings. In the recent times, the designers have made technology the focal point of all innovations. The museum hence uses the technological advancements to evaluate the nature of designs and sets the industry on the road to success. The museum uses various forms of technological exhibitions, such including the photography and video display section. These technologies are used to showcase the small and medium sized designs on the cutting-edge.
The museum is quite lagging behind in terms of technological advancements. Much as it boasts of technological collections of garments and fashion, the setting in relation to technology is not well presented. The museum has quite misinterpreted technology. However, it also targets the elite designers and lovers of antique collections. This is though not well captured in the entry film. The first impression lasts hence; the short film in the entrance is a hindrance to the impression of the audience. It is quite not appealing and thus presents the museum less appealing. This is so because it does not capture the antique and technologically advanced exhibits that the museum offers. The most appropriate film display that could have been used there is that of Alexander McQueen, set at the backside of the museum.
The use of technology in the museum and the setting of the theme thereof are not explored accordingly. More improvements can be made on the exhibit setting of the museum to make the theme better. This is especially so if the Alexander McQueen video would be used at the entrance film instead of the present video. In addition, the setting inside can be improved by using much better designed films and well edited photo displays than the current.
In conclusion, the museum at fit has excellent fashion exhibits but needs to expand the space and plan it well. It also could do with better use of technology to improve the theme and the exhibition quality.
