The final steps will be the actual physical changes needed to convert Green River's design to a more organic orientation. This will include opening up the channels of communication, between departments, creating cross-functional teams for problem solving and facility planning, rewriting job descriptions to incorporate flexibility and allow employees the opportunities and responsibility to do whatever it takes to make Green River successful, whether or not it's traditionally in their job description, and more. This implementation can take up to 18 months, however, in the end, Green River should expect to see similar positive increases in productivity, job satisfaction and efficiency.
