In fact, the adolescence has also been observed to exhibit strong peer relationships that are based on trust (Greenberg, Siegel & Leitch, 1983). The analysis of the empirical study have also demonstrated the fact when the relationship and attachment of peers is concerned during the adolescence period of life, two aspects played significant role in the development of social cognitive skills. The quality of their attachments on emotional basis and the degree with which they utilized that relationship were the prime contributing source that helped in the social cognitive development of the adolescence (Greenberg, Siegel & Leitch, 1983).

To conclude the research on an overall basis, it can be claimed in a sound manner that positive influence of peer and parent interaction leads to social cognition development during infancy to adolescence. On a broad spectrum, the analysis of numerous investigations have brought the fact to the forefront that biological and parental components or interactions are more significant socializing agents during the infancy period of an individual. While at the same time, studies have also indicated the fact that during the childhood and adolescence phase of an individual, more interactions with the peer relationships become the prime aspect.

The studies on a widespread basis demonstrated that secure attachment of parents with children in early years eliminates the possibility of developmental problems (such as delay in cognitive development, lack of self-confidence, emotional disabilities, disruptive behaviors in school and so forth) at later stages of life.

Even though the subject matter of parent and peer influence on social cognition development has come under vast study, yet there is much more to be learned and investigated. According to the personal observations, how the peers affect the social behaviors...

Since the domain of human genetics is widening at an accelerated pace, due to which the emphasis had been on the peer and parent interaction, which leads to positive influences during infancy, early and middle childhood, and adolescence period. Therefore, the researchers ought to shift their focus on the interactive effects of the influences (peers and parents interaction) on social development of children.
