Spheres of Influence Political Sphere

Politics is that one course of action by which the choices and decision that influences our lives directly are reached. In simple words, politics can be described as a tool that is responsible for the shaping up and changing peoples' lives. It is not an untold secret that it is the sole responsibility of the government to fulfill the needs of its people. Society changes due to politics. Thus, politics influence almost every aspect of our lives. Not only does it tell us how much tax we are obliged to pay, it also sets the price of gasoline. The political leaders are not the same. However, they all affect our mentalities in one way or another by their leadership styles and decisions they make for the betterment or nuisance for the people. Everything that a person loves about his/her country (apart from the scenic beauty) comes into being through the political decisions and choices. Politics has a purpose to work for the development, progression and betterment of people (Hudson, 2007). If a person is politically conscious, it means that he/she does care about his/her life. Viewing politics as a distant thing simply means forgetting how private it actually is.

Economic Sphere

Economics, too, influences our lives tremendously. When it comes to behavioral economics, people tend to make unreasonable spending choices. In simple words, they seem to prefer selecting things that indicate smaller rewards in the present when compared with greater rewards in the future. In the same way, the economic principle of scarcity also plays a chief function in product pricing, perceived value and human conduct. Thirdly, the income level also influences several behaviors. It affects what people will purchase and how much they will spend. Unemployment is capable of lowering birth rates and diminishing sense of worth. It can also cause health problems as jobless people do not possess the ability to cope with stress as employed people...

The most important of these environmental influences are cultural in-uences. Culture is passed on "through language and the modeling of behavior when conditions permit humans to communicate through shared language, by living in the same historic period, and when they are suf-ciently proximal to in-uence each other" (Triandis & Suh, 2002). Despite the fact that biological factors do play a significant role in shaping our personalities, they are not responsible for most of the variation and difference. The natural balance shapes the culture. Sequentially, culture shapes the socialization patterns hence shaping some of the difference of traits and behavior of the individual. There is an unfailing association between socialization practices and personality. For instance, when children are accepted by their parents, the former become friendly, emotionally secure, highly confident and positive. When children are rejected or abused by their parents, they become unfriendly, insensitive, unstable, childishly reliant, and extremely negative (Triandis & Suh, 2002). Therefore, it is obvious that culture has a deep impact on the personality development.
Class Sphere

The lives of the people are greatly influenced by the social class. In many societies, people are supposed to bond within their social class only. They are required to only talk and interact with the people belonging to the similar social class. However, sensible and reasonable people do understand that social class should not matter in any case. The books we read, the clothes we wear, the television programs we watch are all influenced by the social class we belong to. Our education, professions, religious values and environment at home are all affected by the social class. The families are also influenced by the social class as it also determines the…
