Children with this disorder exhibit an obsessive interest in such subjects as science, reading, math, history, and geography, and quite often this obsession continues into adulthood and forms the basis of their careers or professional life.
Many individuals with Asperger Syndrome complete college and even graduate school, however they will likely continue to be challenged by social situations and the emotional demands of intimate relationships.
