Ethics In Econ III Economic Thesis

As such, it is imperative that the economics profession set out a code of ethics with respect to all of the economists conducting economic research. The public should not need to wonder if they are being misled by professional economists. Economic credentials, if they are to have such an influence over our lives, should stand for something. The case in question may not be significant in the grand scheme, but it serves to illustrate well a situation that occurs in the halls of power every day. If economic researchers hold themselves to higher standards, we all benefit. Works Cited
