There is a clear impression being made on the popularity of Nancy Pelosi against that of Donald Trump. Nancy Pelosi is shown as the one person who has stood up to Trump and she has maintained her focus especially in regards to the government shutdown. The State of the Union address had to be postponed to a date that was conducive and acceptable to Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats. This shows how much she was not willing to give in to the demands of the president. While some articles will portray Nancy Pelosi as being a winner, there are others that show her to have lost.
