Demonstration of Sensitivity:

The teacher's speech touches base on many aspects in many ways. The speech was opened with the identification of the importance of opening the lines of communication - something that is undoubtedly an inclination of sensitivity in terms of a service from the teacher to the parents. Initially, the teacher accommodated a translator, which in itself proves a degree of sensitivity by considering this possible communications barrier. The opportunities provided in many ways for parents to be in communication is yet another example of sensitivity to the diversity of each parent or families capabilities of communicating. Lastly, proclaiming a commitment to staying at the school until 8 p.m. once a week is also a very effective way to show the consideration the teacher has for the variety of differentiating situations that will be faced among parents whose schedules restrict them from earlier times for communication. This is also an essential part of the importance for parents to have 'access to information' (Mendoza, 2003).

B. Affect of Sensitivity on Parents:

The teacher's demonstration of sensitivity is an example of how to procure much of the desired objective with the intention of reassuring or substantiating the means for conduction. Overall, the efforts taken by the teacher are most likely to come across to each of the parents as diligence and will, in-effect create for the parents and families a perception of security and satisfaction. This is all part of the framework for the essential involvements developed by Epstein (Epstein, 2001).

D. Effect on the Parents:

Given the possibility that a parent may be unable to complete the assignment mentioned by the teacher as something the parent and student would complete together, this may cause the parent to develop concerns regarding their own involvement - and eventually their regard for the student's attendance with the particular school. This may arrive in the event of a parent being illiterate (Mendoza, 2003). Parents who do not have internet or other technological applications may also come to feel inferior in the wake of the teacher's proclamation of web use.

E. Missed Opportunity to Demonstrate Sensitivity:

Each of the quotes provided above from the teacher's speech are examples where the teacher could have demonstrated a higher degree of sensitivity. Taking full consideration of the diverse home-life of each student and their family is an utter necessity in the effort to display sensitivity.
