¶ … fashion which truly fits and befits you. You will always be in fashion if you are true to yourself, and only if you are true to yourself. You might, of course, rightly wear that style which is emblazoned on the fashion magazines of the day, or you might not.' - Maya Angelou.

My medium of expression is business. I have heard it said that everyone wants and needs money. For me, doing business feels more like a calling. I began my first business when I was in 10th grade. Like many teens, I had a pile of Pokemon cards that had fascinated me when I was young, but now were just taking up space in my closet. I began to sell the cards on eBay and was surprised to see my first card sold for $20. I thought -- if one of my ordinary cards sold for $20, imagine how much of a profit I could garner if I actually found some rare cards! I learned Japanese Pokemon cards were the 'hottest' item amongst American collectors. I used Yahoo Japan, a kind of Japanese eBay, and bought Pokemon cards from Japanese people at a low price point. I was able to resell cards at a premium price to Americans on eBay. While still in high school I became a top-rated seller on eBay, meaning I sold more than $12,000 in merchandise in 3 months.

My special something is my entrepreneurship. My business taught me the need to research what consumers want and look for new ways to do business. The world has just overseen the passing of a great entrepreneur -- Steve Jobs -- who changed the way human beings communicate because of his entrepreneurial genius. As Jobs said: "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work." I know that if I love what I do in business, I will never 'work' a day in my life, no matter how many hours I labor at my desk, as every day will be rewarding.

In 1968, with the help of his long-time friend Barry Schwartz, Klein took the leap and fulfilled his entrepreneurial dream ("Calvin Klein").
