The World Bank Group: The role of the World Bank is to provide loans, policy and economic and technical advice and assistance and "knowledge sharing services" to poor and economically imperiled countries. It is a United Nations agency Made up of 184 member nations. These nations both are responsible for financing and spending (loaning) World Bank funds. http://www.worldbank.org/
