Gym Center Lobby

Lobby Layout

The entrance area is set up so that all members and guests of the facility must pass the front desk area when entering the facility. Gym members are scanned into the system on arrival and guests are directed to a waiting area adjacent to the front desk. The guest waiting area does not have a passage into the facility without returning to the front desk. The waiting area provides a large L-shaped sofa set, coffee table, end tables, and a large flat-screen television. One side of the waiting area border is formed by the back of the Juice and Protein bar so that guests may make purchases from the bar without having to enter the facility beyond the waiting room area. Another side of the waiting room is bordered by a glass wall overlooking the swimming pool and whirlpool area.

Locker Rooms

The male and female locker rooms are located on opposite sides of the swimming pool and whirlpool so that both locker rooms have an entrance to the swimming pool area. The locker rooms are designed to maximize the available sitting area in between the lockers and the carpeted floor ends where the tiled washroom and toilet areas begin. The tiled area leads directly to the door to the swimming pool. The first isle of lockers provides only small lockers so that members who are just leaving bags and not changing do not have to occupy large lockers or contribute to locker room congestion during peak hours.
