Such experienced leaders have the advantage of having experienced similar situations before. Therefore, this means that these leaders know what the phases of the situation are and what outcomes they should expect to take place. In other words, they are aware of the actions and decisions they must make in order to efficiently manage the situation in case.

For example, in the case of a police station with an experienced leader, the teams are confronting with a situation where several burglars tried to steal the money from a corner shop. The salesperson managed to press the alarm button and several police cars arrived at the location of the scene. The burglars are armed and are threatening the salesperson and other clients of the store that have been taken hostages inside the location.

This is obviously a high stress situation that requires an experienced leader. Such a leader should be familiar with hostage situations. The leader in this case knows what decisions he must take. The leader knows what type of behavior the burglars will try to implement.

Therefore, the leader will use his experience in order to manage such a high stress situation.

A low stress planned incidents situations is recommended to be handled by a more intelligent leader rather than an experienced one. This is because such a leader has the abilities required in developing and implementing strategies that must address low stress situations.

In such cases, the leader must possess a series of intellectual abilities hat allow him to elaborate complex plans. For example, the leader in case must have abstract reasoning, numerical, verbal, and other types of general abilities. In addition to this, the leader must express a series of abilities required by his work.

The intervention is a planned action, developed by the leader. The importance and the risks of the action require that the leader in case is an intelligent one.
3. Transformational leadership characterizes leadership styles where the leader intends to implement significant changes that affect the system. In such cases, leaders motivate and stimulate their subordinates, with the intention of transforming them into leaders also. Such leadership styles usually characterize District Attorneys that intent to change the system in which they activate and to improve it.

Transactional leadership characterizes leaders that use the rewards and punishment system in order to motivate their subordinates. Although this leadership style is considered to be a limited one, there are numerous managers that consider it efficient. This type of leadership is mostly implemented in areas that address the process of production. This leadership style is based on the predictability of the individuals, given the fact that their behavior is influenced by a financial motivational system (ChangingMinds, 2010).

Visionary leadership characterizes leaders that innovate and that use their imagination in addressing the situations they confront with. Such leaders are more likely to influence people and to motivate their employees by using a series of stimuli in combination with financial ones. Such leaders usually address areas where the rules are less strict than in other areas, allowing them to innovate processes and activities intended to increase the efficiency and productivity of their company.

Leadership Development This analysis will consider deferent leadership development systems at a structured organization such as McDonalds as well as an organization that operates in more of a creative space such as Facebook. The definitions of leadership in such organizations differ significantly and require different approaches. Facebook is looking for more out-of-the-box innovators while McDonald's is seeking leaders that can fulfill needed roles with the structures that they have already designed.
