Time Management The effort of personal development in the modern day society is more and more dynamic, complex and demanding, and in order for the individual to succeed, it is necessary to devise and employ a series of techniques to best manage the resources. And the first and most important resource of all is time, and this is so because time is the most irreplaceable and scarce resource (IslamKotob).

Therefore, time management emerged as a growingly popular discipline, defined in numerous ways. A relevant definition of the concept is provided below:

"Time management embodies the optimal utilization of time as well as other available resources in the way that leads to the achievement of objectives. This cannot be done except through commitment, analysis, planning and follow-up in order that time can be better utilized in the future. Thus, the concept of time management in an integrated one, inclusive of all times, places and people" (IslamKotob).

In the completion of the AMBA program, time management has to be the leading principle by which to identify, prioritize and complete actions. This is necessary in order to ensure that the tasks are all handled in due time, in an efficient manner and with the allocation of all necessary resources.

The strategy would therefore include a series of elements which are important to the successful completion of the program, such as communication, scheduling of activities or management of unexpected situations.
At the level of communication, the focus would be that of maintaining constant communication with all people involved or who are affected by the AMBA program. For instance, I would be in permanent contact with the professors and the colleagues in order to identify any new information regarding the program. Then, I would also make sure to continually communicate with my family members so that they understand my efforts and are able to support them; it is also necessary for them to understand if I cancel family plans when an important situation arises within the AMBA program.

In terms of actual planning and scheduling of activities, I would strive to adhere to the following guidelines:

I would allocate at least two hours a day, 6 days a week, for individual study
