The following paper is a conclusion and recommendation paper summarizing a teachers perspective on the issues that affect behavioral characteristics of people through technology. From the study conducted, it is evidently right to comment on the dysfunctional learning environment availed to students due to technology. Students are the most affected and it is necessitated that societal steps and recommendations be taken to curb the ever-increasing deterioration of students in their academics due to technological advancements.
¶ … noting and realizing the basis of both reactive and disruptive aggression, teachers have certain attitudes towards technology implementation in educating processes. Teachers have realized that most students processes large amounts of information and discover numerous data from technological devices and, therefore, teachers thinks it would be wise to integrate technology into the school curriculum to enhance the student's skills and general knowledge. The recommendation, in this perspective, would be that students have to adopt technology related activities, to assist in research and acquisition of authentic and productive information. This will assist the students gather useful information to enable them survive in the current affairs of the world. No wonder schools are integrating the computer-based programs into their systems of teaching and tutoring students.
Student's response to computer-based programs was different as different students reacted in a different manner. For instance, computer-based programs lead to monopoly in answering questions. Students engaged in discussions as they had the capacity to access information. This meant that some of the students in class were to lag behind due to their inability to participate fully in class work. The contact between teachers and the students was limited to specific students as others were left behind. The program was, therefore, seen to be influential on the results of the students after the entire exercise. The neglected students felt isolated, and this tremendously changed their attitudes and performance in certain subjects.
When students feel isolated and lose hope in terms of academic excellence, disruptive behavior develops gradually. The learning processes are hindered, and the teachers hardly come to understand the ideas and reasoning of all students. Teachers would tend to focus on students who participate in classes maybe through answering questions. The diversity of opinions and thoughts is evidently easily lost when the computer-based programs are adopted and implemented in classes. When the learning processes is boring and plain in terms of ideas, there is a likely hood that the students begin to engage in disruptive characters.
The issue of apathy is also a student's response. In apathy, students all of a sudden, lose all the interest they had for a particular program and the programs no longer interest the students. Such students are seen sleeping and engaging in different activities in class when the learning process is in progress. The interest is no longer there. Most teachers hardly tolerate such behavior and students who carry themselves in a manner to show their lack of interest in class fail in most cases. However, the teachers ought to ensure students are attentive in class. The recommendation, in this scenario, would be to ensure that teachers are using the right communication techniques to ensure students do not lose interest in programs allocated to them. The students are not to choose the way sessions will be conducted, but rather the teachers have the obligation to make the overall decisions in class. All the guidance has to come from the teacher. Change begins with the teachers.
Chaos and unrest are also other attributes of students who take part in computer-based programs. This will in most cases disrupt the teacher's attention leading to insufficiency in the teaching processes. If the teacher is not in a position to contain the disruptive behavior, then most likely students develop an attitude which allows them to cause disruptions in class. These disruptions are what are causing interference in learning processes. If the teachers ignore the student's behavior, then there is a high possibility the students will perform poorly in the examinations and tests. This is the other cause of poor performance brought about by the implementation of computer-based program in schools. Chaos is manageable in their early stages and proves hard to contain in the later stages as chaos spread very fast.
Implications and expectations
The medical practices have to be computerized. Both fiances and time, together with energy have to be tolerated to ensure implementation of investment in enhancing technology, which leads to better emergency medical records. The implementation processes have to take effect regardless of the fiscal constrains and great demands by the stakeholders. An efficient framework has to be adopted to ensure interactive interpretation of emergency medical reports in executing literature and ensuring suitable qualitative interpretation. Qualitative studies and retrieving information from expert reports could be the most aggressive way to ensure a sufficient framework to enhance sufficiency in record handling. There is also the issue on designing a slot for registered nurses and their opinions regarding disruptive behavior in clinics especially in the acute care hospitals. The areas that deal with most patients are prioritized, and this may include the inpatient areas, ambulatories and other specific locations within the hospital.
