This is significant, because it shows how Save the Children is playing a vital role, in helping to promote nutrition. Where, children are learning to maintain a balance between malnourishment and obesity, with these two challenges continuing to affect large numbers of children around the globe. Clearly, UNICEF and Save the Children play a vital role in helping to support and promote various issues affecting them. Where, they will engage in similar activities such: as advocacy, education, health and nutrition. Yet, when you look a little further, it is clear that the mission of these two organizations will begin to deviate. As UNICEF will provide greater control to the way resources are introduced and utilized in a particular region. This helps to give local officials the resources they need, by intelligently addressing the various challenges that they are facing. At the same time, it allows the organization to have the flexibility to adapt to various changes that are taking place in the world. When you compare this with Save the Children, this organization is focused on addressing various issues that may not be covered by UNICEF such as: child abuse. This is important, because the differences between these two entities mean that various issues affecting children will be continually brought to the forefront. At the same time, the fact that Save Children is taking about similar and different issues, helps to address these various challenges. When you put these different elements together, they highlight how both organizations are pointing out the issues that have often been ignored in the past. As the various external events that have occurred, would have negative impacts upon the children. Where, they would often be forced to fend for themselves, creating a never ending cycle of poverty that they cannot escape. At which point, these abuses will continue to be passed from one generation to the next. The fact that these two organizations are addressing the problem is the first step in being able to break this cycle for good.
