The best nursing practice in the specific case would be not only the direct care of the young patient, but also the inclusion of the family in the in house hospital care as to provide an example of what is to be done at home in order to prevent relapse. Many family members might mistakenly believe that their own form of care will be sufficient in the case of a child's illness. However, it is the nurse's duty in such cases to prove to those family members that they need to follow specific and professionally proven methodologies in order to succeed in the recovery process, "Proponents of professionally-centered models view professionals as experts who determine child and family needs from their own as opposed to a family's perspective," (Trivette, Carl J.; Dunst, Carl; Boyd, Kimberly; Hamby, Debra W., 1995). By involving the family in the necessary care practices in house, the nurse can efficiently show those members who will later be...

The practicing nurse needs to show every detail of the necessary care, including the methods for administering medication, to preventing further complications with external threats.
Due to the age of the child involved, the nurse needs to include members of that child's family members in order to ensure a safe recovery. The chills himself is not responsible yet for his own care, therefore the most essential part of care on the part of the practicing nurse would be the proper education and training of those who are responsible for the child's well being and recovery. Without the family members cooperation, that child has little chance of true recovery.

Partial vaccination was not effective on children 6-23 months. This meant that full vaccination is necessary to optimally protect children of this age group from Influenza (Shueler et al.). The results are consistent with those of other evaluative studies on children through randomized, controlled trials for efficacy and observational studies for effectiveness (Shueler et al., 2007). Vaccine effectiveness depends on the characteristics of the study population, specificity of the outcome,

Childhood Asthma The word asthma comes from the Greek word aazein which means to exhale with one's mouth open or to breathe with a pant; in literature its first emergence appears in the Illiad (Benson & Haith, 34). The exact definition of asthma be it with children or adults is that it is "a chronic disease of the lung manifest clinically as episodic obstruction of pulmonary airflow (Benson & Haith, 34).

For children, going to school, even a new school, provided a sense of order. It also gave parents time to plan for the future. Wealthier parents were able to enroll their children in private schools. Poorer families faced a greater struggle. In Texas, officials reported enrolling19,000 children displaced by the storm (Katrowitz and Breslau, 2005). They were able to waive normal rules, such as proving residency or providing immunization records.

Mrs. Ansley would have been treated as though she were dirty and untouchable in those days because she let a man "have his way" with her when it was illegal to do so (they weren't married). No "decent" woman would have had anything to do with her for fear of being judged "loose" also. Women were supposed to be the ones who kept the lid on sexual feelings. They
