¶ … professional and student that plagiarism is stealing someone's ideas and claiming them as their own. This is highly unethical; therefore it cannot be accepted as a way of life by any writing service. For example, there are writing services that provide writing assistance to students and professionals. By having this type of business, clients rely on them to have a flawless service, which would completely rule out plagiarism to be a business practice for them.

If these companies condoned plagiarism, it would not be a business that has any stable creditability, which could ultimately cause them to go out of business. From there, it is apparent that plagiarism is an unethical concept that the writing companies cannot considered it as a business practice in order to continue to be a successful industry. Ethical Practices Along with that, writing services companies understand they have some clients that are sustaining many different levels of education.

From that, they understand each client needs a different level of work to be accomplished. With that, each assignment has to be original in order to help the client with his or her topic. Since every client needs to have unique work completed, plagiarism is a highly dishonest and unethical practice for the company because it does not help to produce original work. Internet resources can have a negative impact on academic integrity because students have access to thousands of papers for free.

With that knowledge, easily helps students out by letting them copy and paste them onto Microsoft Word, which give them an easy to cheat. This, of course lowers their standards and ethics. When this occurs, academic integrity fades away since students cannot take pride in something that is they did not do. Some internet resources only help students to cheat, which does not teach them that plagiarism is wrong and unethical. Furthermore, plagiarism is stealing, therefore it should not be considered students or professionals.

Using plagiarism as a business practice can heavily affect the creditability of the company. If the client used the writing as a reference for their own paper, it would make them look foolish when they discovered the service they paid for has been plagiarized. In return, it would hurt their creditability as well as the company's. If the creditability is hindered, it could mean loss in profits and eventually could cause the company to go out of business. Therefore, plagiarism is an unacceptable business practice.

Theft of intellectual property Due to the unethical practices of plagiarism, it is considered as theft of intellectual property, which is a valid statement. Instead of stealing of someone's car or other material things, it is stealing their ideas and thoughts to claim ownership, which is still wrong because they belong to other people even though it is not a physical substance or object. Plagiarism should be a crime when it is completely intentional because theft is illegal.

Clearly, this is theft of intellectual property and should not be practiced by any student or professional who is researching to write. Avoiding plagiarism In order to avoid plagiarism, everyone should be required to submit their writings into turnitin.com to check for intentional or unintentional coping and pasting. This includes professionals and not just academic students because anyone can plagiarize. With each professional and academic paper, it should be required for them to submit a report from turnitin.com. By doing this, not.
