Samsung Telephones Environmental Factors Some of the environmental factors that are pertinent to Samsung include the social class in which the consumer is in. For instance if the consumer comes from a high social class then he or she will have a preference for Samsung phones which are more expensive. Another factor also includes the culture that prevails where the consumer is situated. For instance, in the United States and Europe, there is a culture of using the Samsung Galaxy S series which are usually in competition with the iPhone.

There is a culture of using smartphones that have connection to the internet over Wi-Fi and have several mobile applications (Ahmed et al., 2015). Consumer Factors There are also consumer factors which are pertinent to the purchase of the Samsung telephone products. One of these factors is age, where the consumers who are much younger have a preference for phones which are trendy and chic in design and also have several mobile apps.

On the other hand, consumers who are older would prefer a much simpler phone which is used for communication. Another factor is the level of income earned by the consumer. The consumers who have a high source or level of income will prefer to purchase the latest Samsung smartphones which are much more expensive (Ahmed et al., 2015). Role of involvement in consumer decision-making: With Samsung smartphones advancing and becoming one of the best in the market place, the phones are being retailed at a high price and have become costly.

Smartphones such as the Galaxy Note Series and Galaxy S series are one of the most expensive phones in the market. Being costly, this makes the consumer to have high involvement which implies that the consumer attaches great importance to the product. This extent of involvement has a high importance effect on consumer behavior. The consumer will undertake lengthy decisions prior to purchasing the Samsung phones (Ahmed et al., 2015). Consumer decision-making process Need Recognition: This is imperative as it causes the consumers to purchase the products as well as services.

Marketing can be of assistance as smartphones have come to be a necessity. Samsung phones can be marketed as one of the top-notch smartphones as they not only offer communication but also the multifaceted functions available through the apps. Information gathering and searching: Samsung Electronics, Inc. can market and advertise its phones through television, newspapers, radios, sales personnel and billboards. For instance, the Samsung Galaxy Note series are some of the phones that have been advertised everywhere therefore making it easy for the consumers to gather information about the phones.

Evaluation of alternatives: The consumers might consider evaluating alternatives prior to purchasing a product. In this aspect, marketing can be of assistance as it can not only market that particular product but also market alternative products under the same brand. For instance, Samsung has plenty of alternatives under the Samsung Galaxy S series such as the Note 3, Note 4, and also Note 5. The different designs made by Samsung for the phones offers a competitive edge. Purchase Decision: This comes about when the consumer.
