One of the emerging threats that is now a more commonplace threat is that of cyber security. With technology advancing at a rapid rate, it seems that security is sometimes overlooked. Our society is well-versed in how hackers can hack into e-mail, social networking sites and bank accounts but it is absolutely something that the public needs to be more cautious of. A way to combat cyber threats would be to make sure that the computer is completely secure and use common sense when it comes to certain online transactions. Furthermore, the threat of cyber bullying is imminent and there should be a system created in which one person can only have one screename or email address, or if someone chooses to have more than they have to register their name and information with a site that would protect people if they are ever threatened.
With the world's rapidly evolving technologies, thoughts and ideas, society struggles to keep up with the emerging security threats that come with it. It is our responsibility to come up with practical strategies to keep our community, our families and ultimately ourselves, safe.
