Plagiarism is the presenting or repurposing of another's thoughts, words and ideas in print with proper attribution to the real source of the material. It need not be intentional and it need not be word for word. One way to avoid plagiarism is to write one's own material out of one's mind rather than using sources for thoughts that are designed to be one's own. The other way to is to cite any quotes, thoughts or data brought in from other sources.
