Self-Assessment Progress Report Three

Current Employer: Military

Current Job: P-3 Analyst

Future Job: Real Estate

Attribute 1:Outgoing Attribute 1 Score

Attribute 2: Decisive Attribute 2 Score

This report summarizes my post-assessment reflections and my progress while working on change activities to develop personality attributes of sociability and decisiveness. I feel confident that I have achieved Level III. I have invested my time and energy to be able to progress to this level, and now that I have been exposed to this kind of growth, I plan to continue on my own.

I can make this claim because I consistently applied the Three Rs change model so that I could improve my OPQ scales. I also put a lot of effort into reading books that my mentor suggested, along with doing recommended exercises and activities. Every day I try to push the envelope a little further, to push myself outside my comfort zone in both personal and professional situations.

Based on having faithfully followed my self-improvement plan, I believe my sten scores would increase to 6 or even 7 for both outgoing and decisive attributes. I do not mean to brag, but I am more comfortable now making decisions and mingling with people. For my sten scores to improve that much would not surprise me because of how consistently I have worked at developing those skills.

The only recommendation that I would make to others would be to remind them to set aside time to systematically work at the tasks that they identified that will promote their professional growth. Anyone who wants to take this project seriously and make progress toward a career change needs only to be dedicated, and have a trustworthy, knowledgeable mentor. We may not all have the ideal personality or background for a particular job, but with some effort and determination, we can improve ourselves and develop new skills. We can be among that 10% to make a life-altering change.

Now that I have completed this project, I feel that I am closer to my dream of becoming a real estate agent. It is reassuring to know that even though I am not especially outgoing or affiliative, I can develop those skills . By the time I actually take some training in real estate and sales skills, I will already be well on the way to being more decisive and more outgoing.

Self-Assessment The effective use of qualitative research When I first embarked upon this course, I only had a vague idea about the purposes of the different qualitative research methods. While I knew the distinctions between grounded theory, case studies, phenomenology, narratives, and ethnographies on an intellectual level, when I assessed different studies over the course of my own research, I was less concerned about the different processes used to reveal the results

Self-Assessment and Reflection According to Daniel Goleman, author of Emotional Intelligence: Why it Can Matter More than IQ (July 1997): "Self-awareness includes the competencies of emotional awareness, accurate self-assessment and self-confidence. Skill in knowing about personal strengths and limits and self-worth are related to these competencies." Various professional tests I have taken have provided me with some insights into my own personality characteristics and personal and professional strengths. For example, according

I need to acknowledge that I can only control how I react with an environment, but that I cannot control the environment itself, and I can try to ensure that my reactions are consistent across time and space. Finally, I need to make some changes to how I deal with stress in general, which may make me more resilient in my professional life. I need to learn to laugh

Assessment Synthesis Some of my mistrust may come from my personal timeliness, and my sense that teams can occasionally procrastinate and pull other people back. Accepting others differences is indeed difficult. (Kroeger, Thuesen & Rutledge, 2002, p. 3) I need to make the differences of others work better for both myself, and my organization. Even if I am doing a good job, I must make my internal criticism of others less

There are no good or bad personalities, and diversity creates strength. This is particularly true in terms of teams, where having D, I, S, and C-types working harmoniously together enables all tasks to get done by the individuals with the greatest core strengths in specific interpersonal areas. Different team members can compensate for one another's weaknesses. One problem with team-building between different types, however, is the fact that the different

Self-Assessment of Academic Development In today's world it's the desire of almost every individual to have good education and a bright future. To follow and accomplish this desire the individuals look for an institute which is up to the standards of modern innovations in the discipline of learning and knowledge assisted by the professional instructors, project manager and in general whole of the faculty.
