Here, graphic design refers to the process of visual problem solving and communication by using space, type, color, and image.
Advertisers use graphic designs such as branding, logos, posters, billboards, product packaging and website graphics.
For instance, an advertiser could use product packaging composed of artwork such as logo and pure design components like shapes, color and images to unify the piece of an advert.
c. Self-concept is defined as the integrated conceptual framework comprising data about oneself.
i. It focuses on a person's fundamental frame of reference.
ii. In human behavior, it assumes a pivotal part. On advertising, the audience is presumed to go through a procedure of comparing contents with self when subjected to advertising messages.

a. Although advertising is considered as a necessity for economic development, it has come with some social costs.
i. Cases of spams involving unsolicited commercial email are becoming prevalent and considered as nuisance to the audience.
ii. Advertising has increasingly invaded public sphere like schools, which is a version of child exploitation.
iii. One notable controversy in the modern day is that of the predominance of ads about foods with high sugar, fat and salt levels, particularly to kids.
iv. Food ads that target kids are exploitative and are not adequately balanced with appropriate nutritional information to help kids understand the impacts of their food decisions.
a. The government has urged food companies to either advertise foods that match the dietary guidelines or limit their advertising to kids.
