I am quite satisfied with my educational life. Having spent many years in diligent study, I have obtained substantial practical knowledge. I maintain ethical values rigorously, as I feel obligated to uphold integrity — a value instilled through my upbringing. Ethics is a particularly sensitive aspect of healthcare, and any misstep can jeopardize a professional career.
Despite my professional development and certifications, I recognize that I have not sufficiently developed personal associations and professional connections. Socializing for professional gain is quite helpful for becoming familiar with other professionals and for gauging one's own level of competence. I consider this an area where I still have much to learn. Exchanging information and strategies with peers can be very beneficial, and I am committed to working on this aspect of my professional life.

I am very well aware of my present job responsibilities and what is expected of me in my current position. I believe a professional should set personal benchmarks and continuously evaluate his or her performance against them. I have practiced this approach in the past and found it quite beneficial.
Despite understanding the importance of career planning, I feel it still needs improvement. I am aware of my career objectives and believe that with effective planning I can accomplish my goals. However, due to gaps in strategic planning, I must learn more about how to position and project myself professionally. I know my destination, yet I have not found the right path to reach it. I believe that by working deliberately on this aspect, I can grow into an expert. I also consider myself less flexible than I would like to be, and I intend to improve in that area as well.

I believe in shared leadership. I have a sense of when to step back and give others the opportunity to lead. Shifting my role from leader to follower does not diminish my sense of self, and I can make that transition without reservation or inhibition. I do not believe in an "I" mentality when it comes to teamwork. To succeed as a team, delegation of responsibility and genuine collaboration are essential.
I routinely draw on my knowledge of past decisions and their outcomes, which has enabled me to improve my decision-making skills over time. I can delegate authority to my team readily and encourage members to seek solutions through innovative, even unconventional, approaches.
