Ethical Organization In A Growingly Essay

Within the specific business climate, a major reason attesting to the value of the lessons learnt is represented by the role of the organizational culture. The organizational culture can be defined as the "values and behaviors that contribute to the unique social and psychological environment of an organization. Organizational culture is the sum total of an organization's past and current assumptions, experiences, philosophy, and values that hold it together, and is expressed in its self-image, inner workings, interactions with the outside world, and future expectations" (Business Dictionary).

The organizational culture is as such the nucleus of any company and it impacts the means in which the employees work and function and also the means in which the organizational objectives are met. An organizational culture focused on ethical behavior will function in an ethical manner and will as such create a positive...

In each situation, attention would be placed on the ethical implications of a discussion, of a decision or of an act and the individual would act in accordance with moral behavior. All in all then, ethical conduct is important to be assesses and understood at a theoretical level, but also implemented at a practical level.
