Overview of Manager's Behavior

With the upcoming merger after InterClean, Inc. acquired EnviroTech, the managers' role will be to ensure a smooth merger and their role during this merger is very important for its success. To ensure that the company meets its post-acquisition goals, the managers' abilities to manage the upcoming changes skillfully is required. Most managers are not aware of how their behavior affects the employees. The success of this merger and employee productivity is critical, and managers should know its success lies in the relationship between employee performance and leadership behavior Norgard & Skodvin, 2002.

Modeling the way is one of the methods to ensure employee productivity according to a study in employee effectiveness and leadership behavior. Therefore, to have productive employees, managers will need to show them by their actions, establishing high standards and values. Having any negative comments regarding how one perceives the merger should be avoided by all managers, this does not mean that any manager is doing it, but its effect may be negative on the mergers outcome. Managers will be challenged to adapt to change, and assist their respective employees in embracing the changes...

While navigating through this merger, here are a few housekeeping tips. The future of the company is dependent on the skill levels of the sales team. No one should be prevented from accessing training provided for by the company, even though they have not reached their specific sales targets within this transition period. There is an employee review been conducted currently by HR for both InterClean, Inc. And EnviroTech employees this testing is legal and is been conducted to analyze the employee skill levels in their areas of competencies. All employees should be notified of this and any issue clarified by their respective manager and the employees should be encouraged to do their best during this review period. Employees should be notified that the company supports them in any endeavor for them to undertake further training Larsson & Finkelstein, 1999.

The long-time employee's preferential treatment is causing some irritation in different circles.
