Though their use is advantageous to human, what about on the animal side? Do they benefit from these experiments as much as we do? The way these animals are handled, breed and used for the experiment is unethical and even though scientist still rely on these animals, their use should be in an ethical manner. There should be guidelines to be adhered before an animal is taken to the laboratory for experiment. Therefore, the use of animals in experiments should be done in a systematic manner after determining the cost-benefit analysis of using a certain number of animal or a procedure on an animal.
