Six months to a year from now will be the more accurate measure of his performance. The article made me realize how immensely difficult it is to be the President of the U.S., and how seemingly paradoxical and conflicting the priorities are he must navigate to bring the country back from a recession while increasing the standard of living and bringing peace in two wars fought half-way around the world. The most difficult agenda any president has faced in the last fifty years, President Obama must rely on his advisors to get through these challenges. The article successfully shows just how difficult, arduous and nearly impossible it is for any U.S. president to triangulate from these many challenges and succeed. He has quite a task ahead of him.
