The rap industry has generated much controversy in the recent decades, most debates emerging because critics consider some lyrics to be offensive and discriminatory to particular groups. It would be absurd to claim that society remains unaffected as a result of being subjected to lyrics that contain explicit inequitable expressions. Individuals who come up with these lyrics apparently share no interest in the consequences their music leaves on the world.

Although it is difficult to identify the exact people who are harmed by offensive language heard in rap music, surveys and personal opinions are more than explanatory in regard to the overall state of affairs. Although most individuals involved in the industry claim that them and their music is harmless, the truth is very different. Some female rappers in particular voluntarily damage the general image women have in society because of their desire to gain profits and celebrity (Campbell, 21).

It would be impossible to consider that all females part of the rap industry are against the general well-being of women, since there are also numerous individuals...

Also, some female rappers who actually put across offensive language blindly continue to do what they consider to be best because they are unaware of the power they hold and of the negative effect their music has on society (Morgan, 139).
Whereas some female rappers claim to have a feminist perspective concerning the relationship between men and women in the present day society, their lyrics show otherwise. Most of these individuals have an incorrect understanding of the word feminism, given that they have their fans consider that there is nothing wrong with referring to a woman by using terms such as "bitch" or "ho." Consequent to coming across passages taken from rap music played by female rappers, one might come to the conclusion that a bitch is an intelligent woman who cannot be influenced by the common individual and who is capable of sustaining herself concomitantly with having fun (Morgan, 43).

Some female rappers wrongly believe that the way to change people's opinion of women is to relate to material matters and to things that generally involve power. In this enterprise, they continue to damage the way society perceives women either by showing that one of the main interests women have is to gain as much profits as possible or by showing that women have a general tendency…
