In this paper a survey analysis is presented. The author conducted a survey in which 1306 professors took part. This survey was conducted in accredited schools 307 AACSB in 48 states of United States and Canada. This paper examines the various opinions of respondents on issues related to tenure. The findings of this study show that most of the accredited business schools by International Association for Management Education (AACSB) agreed that tenure is necessary both tenured and non-tenured university professors agree about the importance of tenure. The mean rating of this study indicates 13 of the 20 tenure issues investigateand they are significantly different among tenured and non-tenured tracked faculty members.
