What: Arrests are made in connection with planned terrorist attacks.

Where: Germany

When: September 5, 2007

How: Police say that there are ten more "terror plotters" still being sought in connection with the alleged plot.

Brief Analysis: Three men - terrorists - were arrested on suspicion of plotting to kill hundreds of people in German bars, airports, and restaurants where Americans are known to frequent. hundreds of definitions of terrorism issued by scholars in different sciences and government agencies. There is no generally accepted definition for terrorism, although the international law is making use of a legally accepted definition of the term. After having gathered and analyzed hundreds of such definitions, Alex Peter Schmid offered a definition of terrorism that in his view eliminated the numerous questions and misunderstandings previous definitions might have arisen:

Global Terrorism Right and left wing extremism, which are both forms of domestic or home-grown terrorism, have a rather long history in the U.S. Generally motivated by Marxist and communist ideologies, left wing extremism emerged as early as the late 19th century (White, 2016). Nonetheless, left wing extremism in the U.S. became more prominent in the 1960s and 1970s, with Weather Underground, Black Panthers, and Students for Democratic Society being the

Global Jihad, a Myth or Reality The Jihad is often associated with a certain Muslim fight against the unfaithful, one that has been going on for decades now and which is unlikely to stop in coming years. This assumption is made based on the fact that

Terrorism refers to threats, violence, bombings, etc. Terrorism is known to have a long history, but even today, the reason behind this terror by the super powers and the government remains explicit.
