The TED Talk I watched was “Do schools kill creativity?” by Sir Ken Robinson. Robinson is a creativity expert challenging how schools educate children. In 1996 Westinghouse/CBS bought Infinity radio broadcasting and outdoor advertising group for $4.7 billion, a deal that was largely the result of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. In 1997, Viacom dealt its educational, professional and reference publishing businesses to Pearson for $4.6 billion, and retains Simon & Schuster.
