Write one or two key questions followed by five to seven subquestions for the qualitative analysis.
Key Question:
What is the success rate of performance evaluation systems operational in international IT companies?
Sub-Questions:
Does the rating setup enhance employee performance over a period of years, like over a three-year period?
Does the appraisal routine encourage/discourage the employees to leave/stay with the company, is the percentage of staying or leaving affected by the rating system?
To what extent is an appraisal manager qualified in conducting performance reviews?
Does any rating system effectively capture employee productivity and is the current bell-curve system, the best approach?
What are the differences between a performance evaluation system and the employee satisfaction survey that is conducted later by the company?
Are there any detectable and clear differences between companies that apply the traditional bell curve approach and those that opt for more unconventional methods?

Central Question:
Is cohesion and collaboration within a group affected by behaviors and religious beliefs?
Sub-Questions:
1. What are the social and cognitive dynamics of rituals? Do devotional practices and rituals deepen group participation and commitment?
2. Is religious cooperation intrinsically narrow-minded, and how does it transmit or relate to group aggression?
3. How does religion affect and implicate religiously diverse communities like those in Canada and what are the impacts of such a trend on international relations?
4. Can individuals be categorized as "natural believers"? What is the importance of cultural transmission, if any?

6. What is the role of religion when it comes to making moral judgments?
2. For a quantifiable study, questions should be written in sets of two. The first set of questions should describe independent and dependent variable of the study. In the second set of questions, a comparison should be made between the independent and dependent variables. The following guide details the methods for combining descriptive and inferential queries.
Descriptive Questions (Creswell, 2014)
1. What is the student rating regarding critical thinking abilities? (This question is descriptive and focuses on an independent variable)
2. What are the student grades in science subjects? (This question is descriptive and focuses on a dependent variable)
3. What are the student's score histories and past critical thinking abilities? (This is a descriptive question that focuses on the regulating variable of previous scores)
4. What are the educational accomplishments of the eighth graders parents? (This question is a descriptive one relying on a controlled variable of the parents' educational achievements)
Inferential Questions (Creswell, 2014)
1. How does the correlation between student success and critical thinking work? (This question is inferential and a function of both independent and dependent variables)
2. What is the effect of previous grades and critical thinking on a student's achievements? (This question is an inferential one, that relies on critical thinking and student success)
3. What is the correlation between critical thinking ability time's grades and student success, if we factor in the effects of parents' educational achievements on eighth graders? (This question is inferential relying on both independent and dependent variables, while monitoring the effects of a controlled variable)
