Always great within a social context, Anna was a breath of fresh air in the classroom, for both me and her fellow students. Never one to ignore discussions, Anna continually stood out in classroom conversations -- without putting her classmates down to do so. She truly exhibits a passion for learning and her craft.
This energy and charisma is also illustrated in her writing. As a true devotee to her craft, Anna has never been one to be afraid of taking calculated risks with writing, within both a creative and academic context. Never once was I afraid to read her work in fear of bland and passion-less rambling, which proves typical of many undergraduates within their first few years. Rather, she proved exactly the opposite, and always took the hard route, with all its successes and lessons along the way. Courageous in both her technique and organization, she proved to have a thorough understanding of her audience as well as the rules of formal and informal writing structure. Yet, as ambitious as she is, never once was constructive criticism lost to an unbelieving mind. She was the first to listen earnestly...
Admissions Summary and Analysis Postpartum depression (PPD) represents increased symptoms of depression that are correlated to having recently given birth. Although rather un-discussed in mainstream social communications, it often tends to have a relevantly strong presence in new mothers. Moreover, William could attempt to develop and implement risk assessment and screening processes for the work release program. For example, he could ask for input from the correctional officers, who have had experience with the inmates,
Admissions Committee: I have worked as a paraprofessional with special needs children for seven years in a diverse, socio-economically disadvantaged district of Brooklyn. Despite the tremendous challenges faced by the students and teachers alike in this geographic area, I go home every day feeling privileged to have witnessed the growth and compassion of my students and colleagues, as they fight against tremendous odds. Still, I am all too well aware
rubbed my eyes and stared at the codes emblazoned across the computer screen. My fellow students involved in the Cooper Union Summer STEM program looked frantic and tired. We needed to make sure the videogame controller was operational. I typed a few lines of code. With shaking fingers, I clicked the upload button at the top right of the screen. I rearranged a few wires on the board to match
Diversity Training The school aims to recruit students that will balance the spectrum of diversity. Before this can be accomplished however, existing and future employees of the university will need to be prepared. "Diversity is about encouraging and enabling all employees to draw on their talents, skills, and experience for the benefit of the business." (Bruno, 2004) Schools that are diversity sensitive will more often be prepared for the competitive recruitment
