¶ … coding, testing, and installation? The deliverables from coding are that the "physical design specifications" of a particular system have been converted to code; the deliverables from testing include passing various industry-validated, accepted tests and finally for installation the ultimate deliverable is when "the current system is replaced with the new system" successfully (Gadish 7).

Explain the testing process for code.

The testing specifications are established during the design and analysis phase. The "master plan" of testing is constructed and the actual testing itself is conducted during the implementation phase (Gadish 9). Testing can be either static (the code is not actually executed) or dynamic (the code is executed). Some testing is automated and performed by the computer while other tests are manual and are performed by the system designers in a hands-on fashion (Gadish 10). In these manual tests, users may inspect code for likely, predictable errors (static testing) or...

Testing may be conducted as units, and then tested in an integrated form, followed by overall, holistic systems testing (Gadish 12-13).
Q3. What is the difference between system documentation and user documentation?

There is a fundamental difference between system and user documentation. Usually, the users of a particular system are not technical personnel, but rather are laypersons. User documentation is designed to enable them to effectively use the system. Systems documentation informs IT personnel how the system works and enables them to fix it or to make changes.

User documentation is included for every software system, in the workplace as well as systems sold for private home use. This may include the hardware needed to run the system; installation instructions; general use instructions; screenshots to guide the user in everyday processes; lists of common errors and troubleshooting, and…

Systems Implementation System Implementations Describe the company, the business problem the company was addressing with the system implementation, the system chosen to implement, and the company's rationale for selecting the system to solve the problem. Wal-Mart, a company that enjoys a significant market share in the U.S. food industry, rolled out its multi-phased project. This marked the beginning of implementing the company's long ditched in-house IT systems, which favored their operations with vendors.

System Implementation - Oahu Base Area Network System Implementation: Oahu Base Area Network The wireless local area network (WLAN) in the Oahu Base Area Network is made up of several different subsystems. The inputs to the system will be desktop computers, laptop computers, and embedded systems (fixed and mobile). Each client has a wireless network card that can communicate with an access point (AP). The AP manages WLAN traffic and physically connects

New Systems Business Systems Analysis What are the advantages and disadvantages of these system installation methods? Q1.Direct installation "cold turkey" Direct installation 'cold turkey' is when the old system is completely shut down before the new system is turned on (What is implementation, 2001). The main disadvantage of this approach is obvious -- any unexpected 'glitches' in the new system will mean that work will be at a standstill until the new system

Enterprise-Level Business Systems: Assessment One of the most criticized aspects of modern business life has been the role of the chief executive. In the public's mind, the CEO is often an over-paid, over-privileged individual, feted with perks rather than required to perform to his or her maximum capacity as an employee. The watchword of corruption and ethics has caused the media and investors to view this individual in the corporate hierarchy

Enterprise-Level Business System For this startup company to make maximum use of informational technology, it must create a website that is not used merely for informational purposes, but is designed to handle customer inquiries as well as vendor proposals. Currently this spin-off startup company is not using its informational technology to full capacity. Although each operating group has its own database, enterprise infrastructure has not kept pace with internal needs nor
