Through this unit, I wish to improve some aspects of my writing such as tone, voice, and style. These issues have greatly impaired my ability to communicate appropriately in the past. First, the misrepresentation of tone and voice has resulted into misinterpretation of my communication in several instances. The relevance of tone and voice ensure that the recipients interpret the intended message well. Secondly, wrong styles in writing have impaired my ability to communicate to certain audiences that require specific formal styles. Lastly, wrong use of tone voice and style have led me to encounter a breakdown in communication. For such reasons, I wish to improve the three aspects of my writing.
In my community, there is a problem of waste management. I would like to write a proposal to the municipal about a proper waste management system and solid waste recycling system. The main challenge that I foresee in this writing is developing the appropriate tone and style for this type of writing.
