Compare And Contrast Essay Titles

Introduction
When thinking up compare and contrast essay titles, the best approach to take is this:  start with the subject of your paper and ask yourself, “What two things am I juxtaposing?”  That is to say, what are you comparing and contrasting?  Apples and oranges?  BMW and Mercedes?  Living in the city vs. living in the suburbs?  Living in the suburbs vs. living in the country?  Living in the 1st World vs. living in the Third World?  Once you’ve identified the subject, your title is very nearly set.  All that’s left is to add a little space:  give the reader a hint of the way they are similar or different, and that is all there is to it.  Here are some examples to show you how.

17. Regulation vs....…key is to latch onto the subject and set the parameters in just a few words.  If you are starting with the title first and then plan on writing the essay, thinking of two things you know a lot about and compare them to one another.  If all you know are Marvel and DC movies, think about all the different ways they are similar and different.  Once you do that you’ll be able to come up with a snappy title in no time.  It’s that simple!  Titles do not have to be sophisticated, nor do they have to be over the top.  The title should just tell what the essay is about, and if you do that then you’ve done your job.  When in doubt, just tell it simply.
