¶ … conservatory of music majoring in piano performance. I have chosen this field of study because ever since I was a child, I have already loved music. Listening to music became my life and soul. Music has done and is doing a lot for me. It provided me with company when I am alone. Listening to music also became my mode of relaxation. Music helps me ease my body and mind. I was so inspired when I listen to music, inspired by the craftsmanship of how every music is created, wondering how composers come up with a complete music composition.

Lead by the inspirations that I gained from the different and wonderful music that my ear was fed, I began to aspire of becoming a musician. Still a child, I entered a small music school where I was taught of playing the piano. From here, my admiration to music was transformed slowly from being just a listener into a music player. This was the start of my desire to learn more about music. Hence, when I was about to college, I decided to take a course in music. I chose this field of study because I believe that I have a talent in it. I want to explore more in the field of music, not just in playing the piano but in playing the other musical instruments as well. I have never outgrown my love for music, and I believe that my interest in this field of study will grow more as I learn more about music.

Aside from my interest in music, another reason why I chose this field of study is because of my objectives and goals as a musician. I am hoping that I can soon share to others my skills and talent in playing different musical instruments. There are so many things that I admire in music that are the reason for some of my objectives and goals. For instance, I admire listening to acoustic music like solo piano or solo guitar. This led me to my objective of someday becoming an expert in playing every instrument. I would love to become one because just listening to music, even when I am alone, makes me feel happy. The more happiness that I would feel if I'll be able to let others listen to my music even when I play alone.

Another example of my admiration in music that led me to my goals and objectives is my admiration to an orchestra playing a music. This may be the opposite of my admiration to acoustic music but a playing orchestra makes me feel alive and makes me feel the real mood of music. From this admiration, one of my goals is to become a member of an orchestra, or soon, to become an orchestra's conductor. I love the thought that orchestras give the moods of music to listeners, to the point that listeners sometimes almost cry because of the deep feelings of music that an orchestra plays.
