As noted above, I started off by immersing myself in the how-to part of transforming a lesson. Once I did that, I felt ready to conquer the smaller details. I did it much like I normally lesson plan (backwards) and much like I write (massive lists and pre-writing).

Create activities (i.e., web-search and using Longman's). Find existing activities (parallel structure quizzes online with immediate feedback). Create new rubric to give to students based upon business letter standard and grammars/editing standards. Put each activity onto a sticky note or an index card. On piece of large paper, physically plot out your calendar for this lesson/unit and a self-pacing guide to keep on track.
VI. Work toward replicating and making copies as well as writing town clear agendas so as to maximize time efficiency. Remember to make entry in my own learning/teaching log.

VII. Go back through the lessons so far. Do they satisfy the three criteria of interaction, userability, and relevance? If something is missing, go back and add. This is not a linear process; you should always be reflecting and revising according to the specific goals in mind.
