Education is responsible for grooming individuals for society, teaching them necessary skills for life. The learning experience is more than just scholastic, as social skills become more and more important to contemporary society.

Especially in the inner cities, more and more children are sent to school without a proper grounding in life skills and communication. This is cause for growing concern as schools are now forced to educate children in basic life skills as well as the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic.
Almost everyone has been inspired by one of his or her teachers. Despite being overworked and underpaid, there have always been those few special examples of dedication and caring in teachers. Many successful people from all walks of life relate stories of their school days, in which a high school teacher or college professor helped them through a difficult time in their lives.
