The time I spent at my father's clinic, thus, led to my determining that there was nothing more that I wanted from life than the chance to work as a surgeon. The decision that I would use my skills as a surgeon to benefit the people in rural China, however, came a few years later during a family trip to the countryside. for, it was during that trip that I got the opportunity to watch the hard, but vitally important, role that the rural "barefoot" doctors in China played. With no facilities even remotely resembling a well-equipped clinic, these doctors tended to the ailing and sick by literally walking to their houses...

...

I made up my mind, there and then, that I could perform a far more valuable service to society if I set up my practice as a surgeon in rural China.
In fact, my exposure to the medical field through my father's practice and China's "barefoot" doctors proved to be a turning point in my academic career as well. for, it was from that time that I began devoting a great deal of time and effort to my studies. Today, I am a College Junior who is totally focused on achieving the long-desired academic goal of qualifying as a surgeon. Of course, I realize that I have a long way to go before I achieve my academic, and subsequently my career goal. However, I am totally determined to achieve both irrespective of any disappointments or setbacks that may happen along the way.

His sponsors simply cut him off. The market censured him, and money speaks in America. Censoring Imus may have the opposite of the intended effect. To eliminate racism and misogyny in American culture we need to cut

Her appreciating the animatronic animals more than the real ones is a product of technology saturation. Technology has become an annoyance: we all experience the "sense of encroachment of the device" on our personal time and it is difficult to cut ourselves off from the world.
