Students will be asked questions on the spot to elicit their feelings about what they liked or were interested in to make sure they're reading the material

Students that struggle will be given remedial attention during or after class. Those with a high interested can be pointed to similar books.

Reflection

The author of this book chose "What's Out There." This book could easily be used as a launch point to discuss math, science and social studies with there being multiple angles for each one. There are also other books that are very similar to these. They include Roaring Rockets by Tony Milton and There's No Place Like Space by Tish Rabe. The latter of those three is a Seuss…
