¶ … Sir or Madam; Enclosed a proposed project, which will enhance the efficiency of student's academics as well as eliminate the teachers time consuming task of manual reports. Your opinions and amendments would be greatly appreciated. Student Report Generator Student Report Generator (SRG) is a program, which will quickly and accurately generate/print students' (monthly, termed, or annual) reports, along with teachers remarks and yearly average with a single click of a button with real time/batch processing.

Difficulties within the current system: The difficulties observed are that once the students are examined (monthly or annually), their reports must be manually generated by their class teachers. It is a difficult and time consuming task for him/her as first the teacher writes the name of every student on each single sheet and writes remarks about each and every student manually.

Once the reports are named and roll numbers are entered, the teacher needs to see what subjects the specific student takes and then pass the same papered report to other teachers on the concerning subject. Furthermore, sometimes a teacher will delay writing remarks/grades of the students, which will delay or have a negative effect upon the class teacher as he/she is not able to circulate the report paper or to calculate the total marks/grades to other teachers in a timely manner.

Due to over crowded classrooms a teacher will not be able to remember every single student when he/she reads the students' name on the report sheet. The student may have to consult with his/her teacher or the teacher consult with the student personally in order to remember how his/her performance was in the classroom. Also if a teacher or student is on a leave of absence, then he/she may be unable to write remarks/grades of the student.

In conclusion, it is a difficult and time consuming task for the teacher to generate the reports of every student, write remarks and calculate the total marks along with percentage and grade in only a few days time. SOLUTION: The redundant methods may be removed by taking the following measures: The remarking and reporting system should be computerized. This will reduce time consumption and will allow greater accuracy for the teacher and student as well.

The teacher can at anytime access the SRG's Teacher Interface and view the list of students who are being taught by him/her. With the easy-to-use interface the teacher can easily add, remove, change or amend the report of the student. As well as be able to print the report of a particular student for the parent's observation on how their students' academics are for conferring purposes. NOTE: Access to the SRG is granted to the teacher only, by inputting a user name and password.

Special care is taken so that a teacher is not allowed to change a student's report of any other subject that the teacher is not teaching to the student. EXAMPLE: A computer teacher (Mr. Khalid) opens the SRG program and enters the teacher administration interface. He is given a list to choose the level (Class) of the students he is managing. Lets say he chooses Class 10th. The list is given of the students of all sections of Class 10 who take his computer class.

The students that do not take his computer class are not shown. He then highlights the students' name and can use the navigation buttons as he needs to. (Rights reserved by Super Administration). On the day of marking, if the teacher of any subject is absent then, with the input of his/her marks or grades automated remarks are generated which can be confirmed by the teacher. To ignore any errors, a short comment is added at the end of the subject line that this is an automated generated remark.
