¶ … lives Jesus Mohammed relation respective religion. The paper formatted APA guidelines, include research sources. Be complete steps paper: 1. Trace lives Jesus Mohammed historically. Jesus and Mohammed Standing as the two principal religions on the planet, Christianity and Islam are most recognized for the individuals who made it possible for them to exist. Jesus is the major figure in the world of Christianity while Mohamed is the central figure in the Islamic world.

Given religion is presently one of the most debated topics, one of the best methods of understanding each of the two religious faiths would be to analyze the characters that stand at the base of each of them. Although there is no exact evidence to demonstrate when Jesus was born, most sources point toward the belief that the act occurred somewhere before the death of King Herod the Great.

There are a series of scholarly accounts meant to discuss the month when Jesus was born, but given the large number of reports, it is virtually impossible to understand which one is more accurate. It is also difficult to determine the exact location of his birth, considering that the story regarding Bethlehem is actually a reference relating to how he was born in accordance to the messiah prophecy.

It is not until his baptism in the hands of John that history can actually relate to his life and when he emerges from relative anonymity (Rausch, 63). Most accounts concerning his life before he took on the mission of being a preacher are mere speculation. His meeting with John played a significant role in shaping his character and it was at that time when he began to put across his religious convictions.

The gospels present a confusing story of the Baptism, with Mark and Luke go over the event without focusing on it while Matthew emphasizes that John recognizes Jesus and considers that he should be the one who would have to be baptized by Christ, and not vice-versa (Rausch, 66). Jesus' time as a minister is projected to be between one and three years, with the gospels expressing several periods and thus making it impossible to concentrate on a particular timeline.

He chose twelve disciples from his followers with the purpose of teaching them more extensively, as a means to have them prepared to teach the rest of the world regarding the word of God. His teachings are largely debated as a result of the fact that they dealt with a series of topics, some of them bearing an air of criticism while others were meant to influence people in behaving more ethically.

His death most probably came as a result of his behavior in the temple, as he highlighted how the temple would be destroyed at a certain point consequent to that moment. His followers were initially unable to understand the reason for his death, as nothing they learnt prepared them for such a situation. Conditions gradually changed, however, and more and more of his followers started to relate to how he died in order to save mankind and in order for the sins of humanity to be forgotten (Rausch, 109).

Consequent to his death, Christians have worshipped Jesus Christ through a series of methods, most commonly through prayer and through celebrating the dates believed to be associated with some of the most important events in his life. From a Christian perspective, Jesus was the reincarnation of God the Son.

In spite of the fact that the early Christians had trouble in coming to a common solution regarding the character of Jesus, the peoples' understanding of him slowly but surely evolved and he is presently considered to be God's son sent in the world with the purpose of helping humans gain a better comprehension of moral values and of how they should behave if they want to be recognized as true followers.

The contemporary society has experienced notable progress across time and whereas people were initially inclined to consider that all the stories in regard to Jesus were actually true, communities increasingly detached themselves from this approach concerning Christianity with the purpose of filtering information from the Bible that they considered to be useful for individuals who are interested in leading a moral life.

One does not necessarily have to take Jesus' messages literally, as the respective person can gain a better understanding of what the preachers intended to transmit by interpreting his words and associating it with present day values. In spite of the fact that interpretations have experienced serious change throughout time, Jesus' message is basically the same. One of Jesus' most important advices that present day society could use is the one regarding how people should not concentrate on material matters and ignore spirituality by doing that.

Muslims consider that Mohammed is their prophet and the founder of Islam, the last from a sequence of preachers having the missions of presenting the world with the word of God. Similar to the situation of Jesus, some of the most important events in Mohammed's life did not occur until after he became a prophet. He was born in the year 570 in Makkah, Felix - Ancient Arabia - and present day Saudi Arabia.

Those who interacted with him were apparently impressed with his abilities as an orator and as a mediator. Considering Islamic tradition, Mohammed first took on the mission of being a prophet as a result of having a revelation in 610 in which he saw the angel Gabriel. It was then when he acknowledged his purpose and decided to write the Qur'an, a manuscript meant to pass on God's word to humanity (Sarker, 33).

Given that Mohammed was well aware of the fact that people would most likely doubt that he did not involve his own convictions in the messages he put across, he declared his complete confidents in his teachings, highlighting that the kept his personal opinions from intervening and altering God's (Sarker, 33). Apparently, it is impossible for someone to understand Islam properly without first studying the life of Mohammed. Also, people need to be conscious of the general responsibility that Mohammed had in influencing Islamic belief (Sarker, 33).

Muslims praise Mohammed for the very fact that he is not divine in character, considering that he virtually represents the perfect Muslim individual by having installed a system that assisted Islamic thought in getting to its present-day state. One of the reasons for which people cannot associate Mohammed with a man's image is.
