One of the biggest challenges facing most new teachers is they fail to understand their responsibilities. Part of the reason for this, is because the majority of individuals enter the field with preconceived notions. As, they believe that they can be able to have a steady amount of work and stability in their schedule. However, what they fail to realize is that effective teaching requires dedication and doing more than what is required to help students. The problem that most new educators will encounter is when, they try to apply various theories that they learned in college to an educational environment. As, they expect to begin using these principals inside the classroom and to start having an effect on their students.
