¶ … Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality profile is a valuable resource used to quantify the intangible aspects of individual personality type. The results of this test can be used to develop a firm comprehension of how personality impacts a person's thoughts, behaviors, and actions, while providing leaders with a viable method through which to emphasize personality type while enhancing employee effectiveness. After taking the MBTI assessment, my results showed that I am predominately an (E)xtroverted, (S)ensing, (T)hinking and (J)udging, or ESTJ, personality type.

According to the MBTI Assessment Results sheet, "above all else, ESTJs are logical & #8230; (and) as they apply their logic to people, places and things, they become objective organizers and terrific managers," and I would concur with this evaluation of my personality. My past experiences working in (insert your profession/field of study here) have consistently challenged me to employ logical thinking in order to successfully accomplish individual tasks and organizational objectives.

By employing a systematic approach to organizing my work and study habits, including the construction of an efficient schedule that maximizes my productivity, I routinely use my naturally logical personality to gain advantages and capitalize on my strong suits. Disadvantages of an ESTJ Personality As an ESTJ personality type who is most comfortable working within a predetermined structure, there are disadvantages which must be overcome in order to remain successful.

For instance, when I am presented with an unforeseen circumstance during my work, such as (insert brief example of obstacle you encounter in your profession/field of study), this unpredictability can sometimes throw my progress off track. The fact that I am an ESTJ personality means regularity and routine help me work to the best of my abilities, so I always try to mitigate the risk of various contingencies by anticipating possible outcomes.

This aspect of my personal and professional history is aligned with the MBTI Assessment Results sheet I received, which states that ESTJs "are practical and realistic and want everything to make sense and be in order," but I am obviously aware of the need to make adjustments on the fly when circumstances warrant adaptability.

Overcoming the natural urge to apply structure that is inherent to the ESTJ personality type is essential to achieving success in my post-college career, because externalities are inevitable during the course of any complex activity, and stressful situations are par for the course within nearly every profession.

Connection Between Personality Type and Career Aspirations Prior to gaining experience in the field of (insert name of your field of study here), I believed that my professional strengths included patience, compassion, good organizational skills, effective personal communication skills, having respect for patients and coworkers, and a desire to learn. My perceived professional weaknesses included my lack of experience in delegating, lack of confidence in communicating with superiors, and my status as a student.

I also held the firm belief that by identifying my weaknesses, I would know what areas I needed to work and improve on, because practice is the best way to overcome those particular weaknesses. After participating in the MBTI personality type assessment, I have learned many things about my ability to provide qualified and competent professional service to future employers.

As an ESTJ personality, I realize now that I am "responsible and conscientious & #8230; enjoy being in charge & #8230; (and) am able to keep others on track," and this information leads me to believe that earning my way to a role in management should be my top professional priority. The MBTI Assessment Results sheet indicates that I should seek "an organized and efficient environment with explicit rules, expectations, and standards to follow," and I agree wholeheartedly with this evaluation of my personality.

I hope to eventually secure a position with (insert name of your desired workplace here), because I am confident that the established organizational.
