Health Management (Strategic Plan) How I will market the medical business The success of the medical business will depend on the marketing strategies adopted to create consumer awareness. Marketing, the business, provides it with the opportunity to place itself in a highly competitive market and attract the potential clients in need of its services. As such, adopting multiple marketing techniques will provide the business with the required abilities to acquire the desired market share.

One of the marketing strategies that will prove beneficial to the business is using the social media to market the business to the potential clients. Using the social media will entail creating Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter pages that will be used for marketing a business. Advertising using the social media will create awareness among the potential clients and provide opportunities for referral for the new clients, hence, the success of the business.

Promotional services such as providing a discount to the first 50 patients to utilize the services of the clinic will be used to attract clients. In addition, the success of marketing will involve posting informative articles on topics related to health on the organization's website. Other strategies will entail engaging in community services that aim at showing the commitment of the organization to community-related issues and providing quality and unique services to the clients (McKinney, 2003). Knowledge gaps that need to be filled for my successful management practice.

Bridging the gap in the business will ensure success of the management of organizational operations. Bridging the leadership deficit in the organization will ensure effective management of operations. This will require the adoption of strategic and tactical approaches to meet the needs of all the stakeholders involved in the business. One of the tactical approaches that will be effective for ensuring effective leadership and management is aligning the development experiences of the managers with the objectives of the organization.

This will enable me as a leader to build good leadership skills among the healthcare providers in the organization. I will also adopt strategic planning to translate the vision of the business into a realistic business strategy. Adopting strategies aiming at inspiring commitment from the other healthcare providers will be beneficial, as it will promote effective running and management of organizational activities. The business is not immune to change. As such, it will require the adoption of the necessary strategies for managing resistance to change in the business.

This will include developing anticipating measures to respond to any incidences of resistance to change in the organization. Other leadership gaps that I will have to fill to ensure the success of the business will include developing strategies to promote employee development such as training and recognition, and coming up with a work schedule to enable employees to balance their personal life and work. These strategies will significantly contribute to the effective management of operations in the clinic (Straus, Tetroe, & Graham, 2013).

Effect of health care future on the business The future of healthcare is uncertain. It is postulated that the health care system will face numerous challenges in the coming future, translating to the need for the adoption of approaches that would ensure sustainability of the business. The healthcare system is expected to witness an increase in the costs of the healthcare services.

The increase in costs of health care services will be highly attributable to the increasing need for the adoption of complex technology to ensure quality health care to clients. The increasing cases of malpractice and liability will also influence the costs of healthcare in the future. The constantly changing environmental needs will necessitate the adoption of strategies that foster enhanced quality improvement.

While most of the organizations have embraced little strategies for ensuring evidenced-based practice, the healthcare organizations are expected to witness a significant increase in the need for a strong evidence-based practice. Consequently, these will affect the future of the healthcare business and the nature of its operations (Berwick, 2013). Quality and Best-Practice Issues Affecting the Business Transforming the business requires more than great ideas. It needs quality and best practices that will make the ideas become practicable in facilitating the organization to realize its objectives.

One of the qualities and best practices that will be applicable for the clinic is improving health care quality by providing patient-centered care. Empowering the clients will also prove effective in ensuring the provision of quality practice. Empowering the clients provide them with the abilities to make sound decisions on the care needed. The enhancement of health care via services like insurance and client-focused programs will improve the health outcomes via quality care and best practice.

Another quality and best practice influencing the performance of the business will include employing collaborative approaches in care provision and conducting frequent studies to identify new ways of managing the emerging conditions (International & Del, 2009).
