Objective of this paper is to discuss the strategy of presenting the scholarly writing without falling into plagiarism. The paper also paraphrases part of the contents from the paper of O'Conner, (2003). Method of Presenting Scholarly Writing, Paraphrasing and Plagiarism A paraphrasing is the method of correctly rewrite the contents of another writers using your own words, which correctly reflect the original contents.
The paraphrase also refers to the method of correctly reference the works of other writers after rewriting the contents in order to avoid the plagiarism in a scholarly writing. In all accredited universities in the advanced countries, plagiarism is a criminal offense where penalty of the offence can range from suspension to termination from the university.
