Recommendation for Project D

Project D. Application of Portfolio Process AKEEL

Our team wishes to propose a strategy for introducing Project D -- the Neutrogena® New Mineral Interchangeable Compact -- into Johnson & Johnson's existing Skin & Hair Care portfolio, alongside the three currently committed product lines, for the remaining three quarters of this fiscal year.

The Neutrogena® New Mineral Interchangeable Compact includes six shades of mineral foundation powder and applicators for use as eye shadow. The mineral shades are designed to highlight eyes while smoothing away wrinkles and blemishes. The foundations include vitamins, silk, and soy for skin protection. They come in a light, portable compact. The target market for Project D. is women aged 25 to 50 in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

In short, we propose allocating $5.5M total for Project D. over the remaining three quarters -- $1M for the second, $2.5M for the third, and $2.0M for the fourth quarter. We recommend prioritizing Project D. above Project B (Acquisition of Essentials Spa®) and Project C (Clean & Clear® Advantage® Acne Control), while maintaining Project A (Aveeno Max® for Men) as the highest priority.

We will make a case below for the immediate launch of Project D, as it promises better returns measured against the projected returns of Projects B. And C, based on an evaluation according to standards recommended by the governance council. Project D scores favorably against current products when risks and benefits are considered.

The expected annual revenue increase is $25M over the next 15 months, while the expected cost is approximately $20M. We have calculated the impact our recommendation will have on the rest of the program. This memo summarizes our calculations and projections.

We have projected out for the remainder of this year the feasibility of Project D, providing concrete suggestions of how company resources may be productively allocated. This analysis has been tailored to meet Johnson & Johnson's goals and portfolio investments, in accord with our company's mission statement to strengthen customer loyalty, foster healthy communities, and develop high quality products. We will demonstrate here that it makes good marketing sense to develop Project D, efficiently introducing it into the pipeline at this time.

Susan Glaspell,(Trifles). Please ensure original wor Formal Approach There is a great deal of irony found in Susan Glaspell's work of literature entitled "Trifles." Irony, of course, is when words are used the exact opposite of their literal meaning. The concept of situation irony also exists within literature, in which characters act the exact opposite of the way that a certain situation calls for. An examination of Glaspell's work indicates that

educational system is failing? In his manifesto, Earth in Mind, environmental activist and educator David W. Orr states that his pro-environmentalist policies and his philosophy of education are united. Going against the current tendency, even amongst liberal educators, to embrace standardized testing as a measurement of scholastic success, Orr instead emphasizes the need to create more mindful consumers of the earth's resources. Our failure to produce environmentally savvy students is

In this case, the attitude towards the packaging confers a resonating attitude to the product itself -- packaging is also crucial for purchase decisions. A study by Wakefield, Germain, and Durkin (2008), this time on the perception of smokers on the perception of cigarette brands, showed how the importance of packaging reiterates itself again by product quality perceptions -- plainly packaged cigarettes were seen as having lower tobacco and having

Skin Cancer Describe the pathophysiology of the general process of abnormal cellular growth as it relates to all types of cancer. Normal cells become cancer cells because of DNA damage. In cancer cells, damaged cells are not repaired and they do not die; instead, the cells reproduce damaged cells. These cells grow out of control and invade other tissues (American Cancer Society, 2013). Compare and contrast the pathophysiology of basal cell carcinoma, squamous
