The platform was an indirect approach to convince the labor unions to withdraw their demands of increments, during the period when the company is engulfed with heavy competition from international companies. The employees were also assured that their unconditional contribution will result in the financial gains for the company, which will ultimately result in the dispersion of the profits to the employees in forms of increments and other relaxation. The restructuring of the organization was performed through different retirement packages and benefits offered to the mid-managerial employees.
Consequences of implementation of these actions

The consequence of the different measures was appreciable, the production activities continued without any threats or break. The labors were more flexible, and equally zealous about their contribution and services towards the Timkin Company, and it was fully realized by the labors forces that they'll be the ultimate beneficiary of the company; the labor forces also realized their responsibilities towards the company in times of difficulties and rising competition. The company on its part was successful in making the labor realize about their significance and vitality for the company. The restructuring reforms implemented at mid-managerial level introduced by the company did not disturbed the labor forces, rather it was conveyed to them that such measures were purely taken in the interest of the company, to avoid any unwanted expenses, which was appreciated by the labor forces. The interaction between the labor forces and the management established strong affiliation between both the parties, and the labor was realized the demerits of the economic policies which were the cause of obstruction towards the success and growth of the company.
