In conclusion, the Port of Long Beach operation is a major trade facility that brings jobs, revenue, and trade activity to the Long Beach area and far beyond. While the facility does have its disadvantages, it is a modern, well-run facility that helps the City of Long Beach with jobs, revenue, and operating capital, and fans out this economic impact across the state and the country.
